4th Weekend

Fourth of July in Neola is always CRAZY for me... I always think that I'm going to have stuff done WAY before but never get anything actually done until the week of... of course! So this week was just like the rest have been and I stressed about the Veterans Video and the Patriotic Program. AND like ALWAYS it fell right into place! YAY!! Anyhow... the kids and I went boating with Amy and her family on the 3rd... then went to the kids rodeo that night! Mar chased a chicken and a pig. Al and West walked around with their friends. The 4th I ran the 5k with Amy and made myself VERY sick... I thought it was from not eating but I never really recovered! Amy and I sang the National Anthem at the parade... Alex played it on his guitar and did GREAT for the patriotic program... West presented the flag at everything LOL... The Patriotic Program seemed to go well, and we got lots of compliments... AND THEN I SLEPT!!! YAY!!!

It's Marleigh's spppppecail day!!! She turned 8 today!! YAY!!! What a fun year... And busy year... She has sooo much personality that you never know what's going to happen next! Am I right?? Or am I right?? Just want to tell her I love her and Hope she has a WONDERFUL birthday! XOXO

This week... WHOA!!

WOW!! So I had one HECK of a week! Trent took Weston to South Dakota to with him... He really wanted to see Mt. Rushmore, BUT Mt. Rushmore was all fogged up! So he took him to see Crazy Horse Monument instead! Alex was at a Basketball camp at UVU all week. And Mar and I stayed home together!! :) She did spend the night at a friends house tho so I got to have myself a girls night out with Steffie! :) (yummy cheesecake)

On Thursday I went out for a Dr. Appointment and then on Friday went to watch Al play in tournaments. He played with the Freshman and Sophomore teams and did VERY well! Trent met us there and we all went to Olive Garden after :)

I was ALMOST to Neola when I got in ANOTHER car accident... Mar scraped her right eye on the side of the car... it was a little swollen and bruised. BUT when she went to the ballpark that night she wrecked on her scooter and REALLY tore herself up!

Went to the cabin on Saturday... Had a pine cone war and hung out. Moms on Sunday and Carson's ordination. Actually did a lot! :)

OK OK OK!!! So I'm a SLACKER!

Can anyone tell that the busiest days of my life are between May and June??? Huh? Huh? Can Ya? Can Ya? ...It's been everywhere from VERY stressful to the most fun I've had in a LONG time! I love spending time with the people at dance! THANK YOU! :) But I've also been doing Baseball... Basketball... Weightlifting... Dance Auditions... Training for the 5k... 50th wedding anniversary videos... Drill Team... Cleaning my house... Cleaning the car!!! And a MILLION other things!

Well here are the random pics I was talking about! They gave us all a HUGE comedy relief when needed! I have more too... but I would hate to overwhelm! After this I'm back to once a week updates... I SWEAR! :) LOVE YA'LL!

Utah Valley Dance Competition... Just got back from competition AGAIN! :D Only one more left! We did GREAT... YAY!! So did the solo girls... and Mar queened and got high point in her division one more time! :) They gave her $50 for it and she told me that "Dinner was on her!" LOL... Anyway!! We had fun... one more week and then the recital on May 21st... Put it on your calenders if you want to come! :)

Gotta Move Competition '09

We did soooo good at competition this weekend! We Placed 1st in 4 of 7 dances! The others placed 2nd (two) and 3rd! We also got Judges choice for our show!!! YAY!! I had 8 girls doing solos also... 4 of them queened (including Marleigh)!! She also scored "high point" in her division. That means that out of everyone competing in her division (around 30 girls) Mar scored the highest points out of all of them! I was very proud of her hard work!! There was also a mom or director that questioned her age (most likely because of her ability and height). So we had to go through that little bit of drama! Dumb people!! Anyway... Great Job Mar! And GREAT JOB VERNAL STARS!!! :) We'll go for another round this weekend. I'll have MORE pics because I won't be forgetting my memory card at home this time! THANKS FOR TAKING PICS FOR ME ABBY!! ;)

May is ALMOST here!

Sooo... April is ALMOST over... Which means baseball and dance are JUST STARTING!! Mar is getting ready to do her solo at this competition on Friday... I always get soooo nervous! (more on that next week) ACK!! The Boys have both started their practices... Weston's knocking the heck out of the ball! Alex hit it out of Field 4 on Monday! For those of you not familiar with Field 4, it's the BIG field off the the hill!

Alex and I have been fighting back and forth about baseball this year. He's SOOO obsessed with basketball that he doesn't think anything else is "worthy" of his time! And I've been telling him he's too talented in baseball too to not play!! So after practice, Trent told him to call me and tell me, that he wanted to quit baseball. BAD IDEA!! LOL! I had, had a bad night at the studio before he had called and wasn't in the mood for him to tell me he was quitting... so I got a "little" upset with him! ;) Anyhow... he kept saying he didn't want to play... It was toooooooo easy! And I kept telling him that was the STUPIDEST excuse I'd EVER heard! After a min. he could tell I was getting irritated and his response was... FINE THEN!! DON'T EVEN ASK ME ABOUT MY HOMERUN TONIGHT!! (he giggles... I'm Silent) ...I knew what field he played on and that he's pretty darn proud of himself!! AND THEN HE SAYS... Dad told me too! TRENT!!! Anyway... YAY STROVES!! Trent said that he entered "Manhood"! He hit it out of the BIG FIELD!!!
